From Plato’s Republic 3.387a “Under the earth like a vapor vanished the gibbering soul”
These drawings are studies for a larger painting of three gibbering souls perched on newspaper boxes, spreading disinformation, while the flood waters rise all around them. Although the jabbering figures are not in concert with each other, the one thing that unites them is their lack of concern for the imminent environmental crisis.
